Willisha Thompson

Willisha has been with the University of Kansas since 2023 as an Accounting Specialist and Peer Trainer with the SSC Finance team. In her time at KU, she has also served as a representative on the CFO Jayhawk Peer team focused on creating a smooth transition for new employees joining the CFO group. Additionally, Willisha serves as a Senator for Staff Senate here at KU. Prior to her work at KU, Willisha worked with students in areas of academic advising, financial aid, and degree progression at University of South Carolina, University of Redlands, and University of Mount Olive. Willisha has 16 years of higher education experience with academic degrees in Economics and Master of Business Administration.
